About Meg
I hold a masters degree in Social Work and have spent over 25 years serving families. My experience
ranges from program management and clinical supervision to training, facilitation and mediation. I was an adoption specialist, group facilitator and trainer and for fifteen years I was the director of a
federal research project providing services to young parents. I produced an award winning
documentary (Play Again, 2010) and have taught at the university level.
But what I love most is working directly with changing families. My approach is warm,
non-judgmental, and structured yet flexible. I integrate coaching into mediation sessions as needed.
I am trained in Collaborative Divorce Mediation and Divorce Coaching. I am a certified court connected
mediator in both Small Claims Court and Family Court in Multnomah County. I am a member of the Oregon Mediation Association, Oregon Association of Collaborative Professionals and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. I am committed to ongoing professional learning and have experience with
complex parenting schedules, children with special needs, domestic violence, substance use
disorder, ADHD, anxiety, the neurobiology of trauma, adoption, attachment, and child development.
